Eldridge Roberts Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Eldridge Roberts, 91, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away Thursday evening, December 9, 2021 in Woodland Oaks Health Care. Eldridge was born April 14, 1930 in Ward, West Virginia to the late Claude and Hattie Calloway Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his spouse, Bessie Jane Carroll Roberts in 1990, one son, Mark Roberts, one daughter, Tammy Lynn Roberts, one sister, Lula Mae Counts, a granddaughter, Ashly McGuire, and a son-in-law, Paul Sexton. Eldridge was a member of Westwood Christian Baptist Church and retired from the City of Ashland as a truck driver with the road department with 46 years of service. Surviving Eldridge is one son, Timothy Roberts and his wife Jill of Ashland, one daughter, Teresa Sexton of Ashland, and 6 grandchildren, William A. McGuire, Anthony Roark, Joshua Roberts, Mark Roberts, Noah Roberts, Josie Roberts, and 8 great grandchildren, Braxston Roark, Addison Roark, Kaliee Richart, Laiden Owens, Brayden Owens, Maddison Roberts, Nevaeh Roberts, and Jacob. Funeral services for Eldridge will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at The Grace Church of the Nazarene with Pastor James Webster officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday at the church. Burial will follow services in Ashland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
