Betty Ann Davis

Betty Ann Davis, 96, of Ashland, KY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April, 28, 2022, at Woodland Oaks Healthcare Facility. She was born July 6, 1925. Betty was preceded in death by her husband John F. Davis Jr. They had been married 71 years when John passed away in 2017. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Jeanette Martin and her step father Talt Martin, as well as a brother, Bernard Crawford. Betty is survived by a daughter Barbara Ann Hill of Ashland, a son, Bob Davis (Ruth) of Ashland; four grandchildren, Matt Davis (Cathy) of Ashland, Corey Davis of Ashland, Teresa Hill (Jeff) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Robert Hill (Lynn) of Ashland and one great granddaughter, Harper James Davis of Ashland. She also leaves behind two special friends, Louonna Estep of Ashland and Juanita Adkins of Hebron, Ky. Betty was a housewife and excellent cook, especially baked goods. She was known for her delicious cream pies and homemade yeast rolls. She was a member of Grace Nazarene Church. Private funeral services will be held at Rose Hill Mausoleum Chapel with entombment following the services. There will be no visitation. The Family would like to thank the caregivers at Woodland Oaks and the Hospice nurses for the wonderful care given to Betty while she was on their watch.
