Betty J. Conn Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Betty J. Conn, 96, of Ashland, Kentucky passed away Friday evening, September 10, 2021 in Community Hospice Care Center. Betty was born March 4, 1925 in Columbus, Oh to the late Earl and Charlotte Sturgill Rowe. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband in 2010 Delmer Conn and a brother Fred Rowe and a son-in-law Watson Mosley Jr. Betty was a former manager of the Oakview School cafeteria for 28 years, a long time member of the First Church of God and was involved in Women’s Missions, a Sunday School Teacher, Church Youth Camp Cook, and ruled the church kitchen with an iron fist. Surviving Betty are two sons, Michael Conn and his wife Jana of Winchester, Ky., Ronald Conn and his wife Phyllis of Jacksonville, Fl., one daughter, Adele Mosley of Ashland. In addition to her children she is survived by five grandchildren, Ronald David Conn, James Conn, Sean Peffer, Stephanie Davis , Lacey Midden and ten great grandchildren, Treya and Braed n Conn, Dorian and Charlotte Conn, Madeleine and Brennan Peffer, Reese and Regan Davis, and Sawyer and Sloan Midden. Funeral services for Betty will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Miller Funeral Home, with Pastor Acy Gibson officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow services in Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flower contributions may be made to Community Hospice Care Center 1480 Carter Ave. Ashland, Ky. 41101. At the families request mask are required to attend services.
