Barbara Louise “Bobbie” Menshouse, 75, of Ashland died Friday April 25, 2014 at Hospice Care Center. She was born March 28, 1939 in Ashland the daughter of the late George F. and Delcie Barber Menshouse. She delivered newspapers, was a caretaker for her church and worked at Country Gardens Florist. She was a member of the South Point Church of God and served the Lord by ministering to others through music at nursing homes and anywhere else she was welcome. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara “Toni” Owens (Patrick) of Sidney, OH; five brothers and five sisters, Ellen Bryan (Paul) of Boyd Co., Michele Williams of Ashland, Sandra McDowell (Loval) of Boyd Co., George Menshouse, Jr. (Nancy) of Ashland, Wendell Menshouse (Billie) of Ashland, James Menshouse of Ashland, Nettie Gustin (Ralph) of Flatwoods, KY, David Menshouse (Sonya) of Ashland, Donna Barber of Flatwoods, KY, and Gerald Menshouse of Ashland; three grandchildren, Nicole Davidson (Rickey), Tony Collins, Jr., and Michael Collins; four great grandchildren, Brooke Davidson, Blake Davidson, Tailyn Collins, and Tristyn Collins; and the father of her grandchildren, Tony Collins of Raceland, KY. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM Monday April 28, 2014 at Miller Funeral Home with Bro. Paul McNurlin officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Monday at the funeral home.
