Frances Alice Henderson, 83 of Ashland, KY 3/27/1942 – 4/4/2025 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Frances Alice Henderson, who passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side on 4/4/2025 at the age of 83. Born on 3/27/1942, in Ashland, KY, Frances was the beloved wife of James “Jimmy” Henderson who preceded her in death. She was the beloved mother of Billy (Robin) Henderson, Charlotte (Charlie) Moore, Sherry (Bub) Franklin, David (Mary) Henderson, and Paul Henderson. She was the beloved sister of Eugene Abrams, Chester (Janet) Abrams, Donnie (Carla) Abrams, and Ronnie (Debbie) Abrams. Frances was an amazing grandmother to Billy (Amy) Henerson, Becky Lance, Missy (Jeremy) Miller, Joey Franklin, Nikki Barker, Jimbo Franklin, Brittany Griffith, Jennifer (Dwight) Smith, Carey Holley, Terri (Phil) Perry, Chris Johnson, Lindsay (Cody) Taylor, Jeremy Franklin, Harley Adkins, and Levi Adkins. Frances was the great-grandmother of 22 and the great-great grandmother of 1. Francis was also survived by her lifelong friend James “Rabbit” Robert. Frances was a home maker but raising her children and watching her family grow was her passion. Throughout her life, she was known for her infectious laugh, her love of everyone making her Mamaw to those who knew her, catching a Sunday night at Bingo, and any chance to visit The Smokey Mountains and Dollywood. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity. She was loved by so many, including friends, many nieces and nephews and her dog Daisy. Frances was preceded in death by Arnold & Ora (Hensley) Abrams (her parents), Junior (Evelyn) Abrams, Orville (Wanda) Abrams, Christine Seagraves(her siblings), Alice Marie, Kenny Henderson (Her children), and Jason Jacobs and Haylee Henderson (her grandchildren), and her sweet fur baby Molly. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 6:00 PM t0 8:00 PM at Miller Funeral Home with the funeral service occurring the following day on Tuesday April 8, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
